Open Day at Klax School

We would like to show you our rooms and present our pedagogical concept. Get your own impression and get into conversation with learning guides, other parents and students.

We warmly welcome you to the open day from 10:00 to 15:00 at the following locations:

• Primary and Middle School (1st - 10th grade): Neumannstr. 13, 13189 Berlin
• Upper Secondary School (11th - 13th grade) and Fachoberschule (FOS): Borkumstr. 2, 13189 Berlin

You can expect a varied programme that includes all school levels and aspects of everyday school life. Our caterer Löwenzahn will provide delicious snacks, coffee and cake.

• Teaching presentations and introductions to the pedagogical concept (Primary, Middle and Upper School) 
• Information on the Upper Secondary School and FOS - Fachoberschule with presentation of the learning studio 
• Hourly tours of the school premises including the media room, podcast room and makerspace: Insight into the primary level (1st - 6th grade), intermediate level (7th - 10th grade) and the Upper Secondary School: 10.10 a.m., 11.10 a.m., 12.10 p.m., 1.10 p.m. and 2.10 p.m.
• Insights into the art studios with an explanation of the artistic focus of our school.
• Presentation of the digital concept: How students and teachers work with digital media and use them profitably. 
• Presentation of the all-day concept with insights into the after-school care area
• Colourful stage programme with performances by the school band and the Hip Hop Club
• Presentation of the clubs of the primary school and secondary school I and II
• Creative hands-on activities: Programming/coding and green screen in the primary school, activities in the Makerspace and on the school playground. 
• Presentation of our student company Precious Plastic
