Internal School Curriculum for Vocational and Study Orientation

Career and study orientation offers pupils the opportunity to plan and reflect on their own professional future. This is a longer process, which should be supported by the school in different grades. It should begin with self-exploration, continue with research into future options and offers and culminate in the decision for a career path via the work placement.

The Klax School promotes the development and strengthening of the so-called "four competences for the 21st century" with special offers in the field of art and digital: Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Communication. For this purpose, the school has its own Makerspace, where students learn skills and abilities in dealing with ideas and production processes using the latest technology in specialised subjects (Maker & Design, Computer Science, WAT). On the other hand, this also takes place in the form of Open Labs.

With the present school-internal BSO curriculum, the Klax School wants to support the students in developing their strengths and competences beyond the classroom and offer them a meaningful orientation in the field of BSO.
