Many interested people at the Open Day
On Saturday, September 24, our school building was bustling from 10 am to 3 pm. The first Open Day of the school year attracted numerous interested people to the Klax School who wanted to learn more about our school life and the pedagogical concept.
The whole school community was involved: Parents and students guided the visitors through the school building, teachers presented their lessons and the classrooms, a pupil of the documentation group took pictures of the day and many students supported the numerous hands-on activities. Children made their own key chains with the laser cutter in the Makerspace, printed great motifs in the art studio or programmed robot bees. In the foyer, a band played live music and children could try drums. Some brave ones even contributed their own music to the audience.
While enjoying pumpkin gnocchi, lentil soup and delicious cake from our caterer Löwenzahn, lively conversations took place in the cafeteria. What a nice and successful day for all of us.
The next Open Day will be held on January 14, 2023.
