Busy decorating of the market, concentrated finishing of products, a last rehearsal of the school band for the concert in the afternoon. At Klax School it was busy that morning of October 21. At 3 pm that day the autumn market at the Klax School would start. Every year the autumn market it is the crowning conclusion of the autumn project week.
After four intensive days of working in 26 workshops, the students offer their products for sale at the traditional autumn market for parents and relatives. Once again this year, incredibly creative and high-quality products were produced. The guests were delighted with self-made soaps, refined lamps, elegant jewelry, cuddly loop scarves, colorful flower wreaths, printed bags and much more.
The parents of the school community sold homemade cakes and coffee.
And all this for a good cause. Like last year, the Klax School was happy to present the Afghan Women's Association and thus their partner school Roschani with 6,000 € for their important work. Dr. Kaltenborn from the Afghan Women's Association visited the autumn market and informed about the current, difficult situation of women in Afghanistan.
