The first Open House of this school year was marked by a cheerful atmosphere and almost 300 visitors. While complying with the current but necessary safety precautions, interested families could experience creative activities and the innovative teaching methods at the Klax School.
There were numerous activities on site which visitors could try out themselves. These included exploring the possibilities of the 3D printer, designing buttons and printing canvas bags with their own motifs or letting our young and old students introduce them to the exciting world of codes. Here, robots and vehicles were built and set in motion using simple programming languages.
In the painting studio young artists could become creative and try out different painting and drawing techniques. In addition, the activities offered a framework for exchanging ideas and asking our students and learning companions all kinds of questions. In group tours, classroom presentations and individual discussions, the visitors could then inform themselves in detail about the Klax pedagogical concept and the structure of everyday school life.
Many thanks to all participants for this successful open house, which was a great highlight in this challenging year!
