How does sustainable energy use work? How are mobility, innovation and a modern working world connected? And what does a turbine factory look like from the inside?
These were the questions 15 pupils in grades 10-12 dealt with at the "Education meets Industry" event on 30 May. During the exciting career exploration at the GFBM Academy on the PankowPark industrial estate, we explored natural phenomena and actively engaged with technology. The aim was to understand innovative technologies and discover new apprenticeship occupations. The industrial side was also represented at the event and was able to introduce itself to the young people through workshops and panel discussions. Our students learned more about technologies through the ABB Training Centre, Stadler Rail, General Electric and GEA Klimatechnik - and of course discovered their own potential. One of the highlights was the exploration of a real turbine factory.
We would like to thank the GFBM Academy for the exciting career exploration!
