Klax School wins Special Prize of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation

On November 29, 2024, our school has won the Dieter Schwarz Foundation's Special Prize for the best media concept!

The bilingual Klax School “impressively combines art and digitalization to create a forward-looking educational approach”, said Prof. Dr. Thomas Raith from the Freiburg University of Education in his laudatory speech. “The focus on future-proof skills is evident throughout the entire school concept and is an impressive example of how modern learning can be shaped” continued Prof. Dr. Raith. Our principal Stephen Kelly and our media educator Adam Kosjanik proudly accepted the Special Prize of €5,000 in Heilbronn.

The Dieter Schwarz Foundation has been awarding the prize for the best media concept in cooperation with the Academy for Innovative Education and Management (aim) since 2011. The focus of the concepts should be on promoting pupils as active and critical participants in a digital media society. The award is intended to encourage schools in their plans.

We are delighted to have received this award and are very proud of the confirmation it provides for our approach. What great praise for our pupils and teachers!
