Plastic recycling with the Precious Plastic club
For two years the Kunstfest Pankow had to take a pandemic break. Then last weekend the time had come: Kunstfest Pankow could finally take place again - and our school was there! On 11 and 12 June there were numerous art and creative offers, concerts and handicraft stands in the Schlosspark.
Klax offered creative activities for children and young people at four different stands. For our school, the Precious Plastic AG showed the guests how to make spinning tops from plastic lids and a recycling machine, how to recycle old plastic and what sustainability means to us. And with success: we made over 400 spinning tops in one weekend. Of course, the visitors were also able to find out more about our school and the Makerspace.
We are happy about the great interest and are already looking forward to next year's art festival!
