Klax School at the conference mobile.schule in Hannover

Great interest in the Makerspace

On September 26 and 27, the conference mobile.schule in Hannover attracted many people interested in education who were looking for new ideas and innovative formats to make their teaching more contemporary.

Klax School was represented with an exhibition booth in cooperation with the company Conrad. Teachers could experience and try the devices and offers we provide in our Makerspace onsite.

In addition to the exhibition, a variety of workshops, lectures and discussion groups as well as numerous digital formats were offered. André Timm, head of the Makerspace at the Klax School, also gave two talks on the topic of Makerspace.
Thus, visitors learned how they can set up their own Makerspace and how the work in the Makerspace can be used both in individual subjects and in interdisciplinary projects.

André Timm sums up the successful participation: "The participation at the mobile.schule has shown that the Makerspace is a real trend. Positive feedback came from all sides - from universities, vocational schools, media centers, and school administrators. There was a lot of interest in learning about the Klax concept and how it can be integrated into the classroom."
