The Klax School is involved in the project "School without Racism - School with Courage" for five years. At the beginning of December, seven students from the middle school took part in the digital meeting of the network.
After a welcome by the team of the Berlin regional coordination, all participants were assigned to their workshops. This allowed our students to take part in a workshop on the topic of podcasting, for example, where they were able to share the knowledge they had already gained in the radio workshop with the other participants. In addition, the students attended workshops on the topic of hate speech and created their own memes, shared their experiences on the topic of cyberbullying or explored how discrimination takes place in the world of gaming.
The feedback from the group was very positive. They felt that the day was a good input and enriching, especially in view of the following media week.
