Under the motto "Line following competition", the pupils had the task of programming a robot using the coding basics they had learnt so that it could independently complete a winding parkour. In addition to the duration, criteria such as programming codes and an unusual design were also included in the assessment.
After several workshops and test runs in the last few weeks of school, during which the students worked diligently on their robots, the big day came on Friday, 16 February 2024. In the afternoon, the makerspace was buzzing with excitement. The three teams gathered around the recorded parkour and eagerly awaited the official launch. It quickly became clear that Damian's robot followed the line exactly and was the fastest to complete the parkour. We would like to congratulate and thank everyone who took part!
The next robot competition will take place at the Maker Fair in July 2024.
