Also this year, our pupils and students from grade 1 to 10 participated in the World Clean Up Day and were able to contribute to a clean and litter-free environment. Equipped with gloves, waistcoats, rubbish grabs and plenty of rubbish bags, the classes went out and eagerly collected plastic, paper and residual waste.
"It's unbelievable how much rubbish is lying around in the parks and on the streets," said a class 5 pupil. Back at school, the rubbish was weighed at a specially set up station.
An astonishing amount of rubbish was collected: 179 kg of rubbish was collected during the morning. We would like to thank the students and teachers for their great commitment.
