On 10 and 11 June 2023, it was that time again: in beautiful summer weather, the popular Pankow Art Festival with numerous art and creative offerings, concerts and craft stalls took place as usual in the Schlosspark. On the Klax lawn, people were busy doing handicrafts, painting and taking part in the nature quiz. Of course, the Klax school was also present and inspired on the topic of sustainability. The newly founded school company "Second Life Plastic Berlin" used the platform to introduce itself to the visitors and to present at four stations how used plastic can be recycled. With the help of a recycling machine, spinning tops were created from previously collected plastic lids. Of course, the visitors also had the opportunity to learn more about the Klax School and to talk to the staff about the special features. We would like to thank all the staff and students for their active support and are already looking forward to the art festival in 2024!
