Zukunftstag at Klax School offered career and study orientation

Zukunftstag at Klax School

Life after school offers many options: A voluntary service abroad, studying at an art college, an apprenticeship in a company. On the 29th of April at the Zukunftstag, our students had the opportunity to get advice about the many opportunities that await them after school. And this Zukunftstag was a complete success: 25 well-known exhibitors such as the BVG, Siemens or the Chamber of Crafts informed about their offers and gave presentations. "We were thrilled at how many different companies and universities were there. It definitely helped us to find out what we want to do after school," said Sean Polzin, our student representative.

They were able to get information not only at the exhibitors' stands, but also through the programme in the cafeteria. After an exciting opening lecture, our moderator Clara Schaksmeier spoke with the Berliner Wasserbetriebe and the Weißensee School of Art about sustainability and creativity. Our Makerspace also opened its doors on the Zukunftstag and offered a workshop on design thinking in addition to the Open Lab. The Löwenzahn team members provided our guests culinary catering with a delicious barbecue buffet in the courtyard.

We would like to thank all exhibitors for their participation, the exciting presentations and the good atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Thanks of course to all visitors, our motivated students and the whole organising team!
