Every year at the end of the school year, Klax School organises a big school ball. This year's event was no exception, with around 250 festively dressed guests gathering on 16 July to celebrate.
Klax founder and managing director Antje Bostelmann gave a speech, congratulating the students on their achievements and talking about the great success of the school company 'Second Life Plastic' in the national competition. Representing the GEV, Mrs Szigat thanked all the parents and teachers for their commitment to enriched every school day.
The evening was accompanied by two performances by the students: the drama club presented fairy tale scenes and the hip hop club wowed the audience with a great dance choreography. This was followed by delicious food from the wholefood caterer Löwenzahn.
Finally, the dance couple Arthur and Antonia opened the floor with three impressive standard dances. Afterwards, parents, teachers and students danced together, bringing the evening to a wonderful close. At the end, the Primary and Middle School Dance Couples of the Evening were chosen.
This wonderful celebration marked the official end of the 2023/24 school year and the students can now enjoy their holidays. The new school year will start in September - we are looking forward to it!
