Future Day 2026: Career and Study Guidance for Hundreds of Young People

Young Talents Explore the Working World of Tomorrow

For the fifth time, the Klax International School campus was transformed into a space where pupils could actively explore their future. Around 400 young people from Klax School and other schools in Berlin gained practical insights into apprenticeships, university courses, and professional fields. More than 35 renowned exhibitors from business and science — including IHK Berlin, Vivantes, HNEE Eberswalde, Berliner Volksbank, BMW Motorrad, and HTW Berlin — presented their offerings and showed pupils which skills are particularly sought after in an ever-changing world of work.

Two keynote speeches provided valuable inspiration. Philosopher and author Christian Uhle encouraged reflection on meaning, direction, and self-fulfilment in the modern workplace. Psychology professor Ricarda Rehwaldt motivated pupils to follow their interests and demonstrated how motivation, happiness, and personal goals can be connected in professional life — timely for the International Day of Happiness on 20 March.

In more than 35 workshops, lectures, and career dives, pupils explored future technologies such as artificial intelligence, discovered creative career paths, and gained international perspectives on training and higher education. This allowed them to reflect on their strengths and gain an impression of which paths after school might suit them best.

Future Day 2026 once again demonstrated the value of personal encounters, hands-on experiences, and direct engagement with experts in providing guidance. A heartfelt thank you goes to all partners, speakers, and contributors. We also extend our gratitude to all staff members of Klax School, whose dedication and commitment were essential to the success of Future Day.
