Enrolment 2026 at Klax International School

A school cone almost as tall as they are, a new school bag on their backs and butterflies in their stomachs: for 40 children, starting school marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

Anticipation and excitement, curiosity about what lies ahead, and a wealth of new experiences characterised this special day. This makes it all the more important to have people who provide guidance and reassurance, whilst at the same time encouraging the children to try new things, gain their own experiences and become more independent, step by step. At Klax, we support children on this journey – right from the start.

The Klax International School’s enrolment ceremony provided a glimpse of what this start might look like. Following a welcome address by Heiko Mattschull, Head of School Profile, the Malenki Fun Orchestra opened the ceremony. Pupils from Years 2 and 3 also welcomed the Year 1 pupils with musical performances.

Katie Street, Head of Primary Education, and Alex Thomschke, Head of the Learning Environment, addressed the children and their families and gave them a first glimpse of the time they would be spending together. During the introduction of the teaching support team, our Year 1 pupils got to know the people who will be supporting them in their everyday school life.

The children then proudly received their large, colourful school goody bags and set off for their first  lesson. At the buffet that followed, provided by our organic caterer Löwenzahn, the children and their families had time to chat, meet one another and get to know each other for the first time.

We are looking forward to the coming school year with our new pupils and would like to say: A very warm welcome to Klax International School!
