Pupils of the 7th and 8th Grade made an educational trip to the Sachsenhausen Memorial and Museum. The teachers could notice an increasing interest of the young people in dealing with National Socialism.
The classes had researched in advance and held lectures on German history - from the Weimar Republic to the Nazis' seizure of power and the countless crimes against humanity committed in Germany up to 1945. And yet the visit has left a visible impression on the young people. Long after their departure, their experiences were the subject of many conversations.
