A day of creative winter activities and exercise
On Friday, November 28th, the ARD Radio Night took place under the motto “Flocken Rocken” (“Rock the Snowflakes”). At Klax School, primary school children enjoyed a varied program full of creativity, movement, ice, and snow.
In the gym, exciting winter sports games and a challenging obstacle course awaited the children. They braved snowstorms and carried out “rescues” across frozen lakes – all while developing teamwork, problem-solving skills, and cooperation in a playful way.
In the makerspace, the students let their creativity run free: large paper snowflakes and personalized flashlights were created, which were used both as decorations and for the overnight stay. Each class also visited the green-screen studio to take a group photo in a winter wonderland setting. The ornaments with winter animals and snowy landscapes, crafted by the 5th and 6th graders, now decorate the Christmas tree in our foyer.
After dinner, the children who were staying overnight prepared their sleeping areas and listened attentively to the ARD radio program from 8:00 p.m. It was an eventful day that combined movement, creativity, and collaborative learning in a playful way. We sincerely thank everyone involved for their organization and dedication!
