An ancient tragedy freely adapted from Antigone, Medea and Electra
In the theatre project week of the middle school, the focus of the production was, among other things, the myths of antiquity and conflicts of ancient female characters. In a total of 13 workshops, the students looked for parallels in the present and worked together to find solutions. For one week, great things were developed in teamwork: acting scenes, choreographies, musical accompaniment, stage sets, props and costumes. In addition, students dealt with topics such as the feminist women's movement over time, mathematicians of antiquity and Greek and Roman mythology from a historical perspective. A documentary film and program booklet show this work in detail.
On Thursday, March 30th, 2023, the two performances of the play took place as a successful conclusion in the Kulturhaus Peter Edel in Weißensee. We were absolutely thrilled and would like to thank all students for their efforts.
