During the action day of the initiative #NichtEgal, the Klax School students learned about the opportunities and dangers of social networks and games.
Together they developed action points for respectful and informed exchanges of opinions on the net and in everyday life. The initiative #NichtEgal has been training students throughout Germany for years to become experts on tolerance and democracy on the Internet. They then train their fellow students as mentors.
On the day of action, 16 trained mentors from the 9th and 10th Grades and 96 students from the 7th and 8th Grades discussed the topics "Feeling Good on the Internet" and "Democracy and Tolerance on the Internet" in workshops. In addition, an external lecturer conducted an interactive workshop on the topic of "gambling addiction".
The students produced short films with the focus on "Feeling Good on the Internet".
