"Who am I?" – Alice in Wonderland reinterpreted
On 23 May 2025, over 200 pupils from the middle and upper school at Klax School presented the result of this year's theater project week: the play "Who am I?" - a modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic Alice in Wonderland.
During the intensive project week, the young people developed all the elements of the performance themselves in eight themed workshops - including stage design, music, acting and costume design.
At the centre of the play was Alice - an insecure schoolgirl who searches for her place in the world on a surreal journey. Along the way, she meets strange characters such as the wise Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. Each encounter brings her a little closer to herself, to more self-confidence and inner strength. Particularly impressive: the bilingual realisation of the production in German and English.
The annual theatre project week offers pupils space for creative expression, strengthens their self-confidence and promotes the social community at the school.
A big thank you to everyone involved for their fantastic commitment!
