Upper Secondary Students of Klax School in Vienna and Krakow
For the first time, Klax School offered Advanced Course Trips for the upper secondary school – and they were a resounding success! The feedback from both students and teachers was overwhelmingly positive.
Biology in Vienna
The students in the 12th and 13th-grade Biology course had the opportunity to dive deeply into the topic of "Molecular Foundations of Life." At the Natural History Museum in Vienna, they participated in a guided tour on "Climate in Transition – Life in Transition." They also attended two exciting workshops at the Vienna Open Lab, where they gained hands-on insights into molecular research.
Art in Vienna
The Art students explored the world of visual artists from the Vienna Secession movement. At the Leopold Museum and the Albertina Museum, they admired the works of artists such as Egon Schiele and Oskar Kokoschka, as well as pieces from "Monet to Picasso." During a creative workshop, the students had the chance to create self-portraits and experiment with different artistic styles.
History & Politics in Krakow
The History and Politics students traveled to Krakow, where they participated in a historical city tour and visited the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial. Other program highlights included a visit to the Schindler Factory and Wawel Castle. This excursion provided an intensive look into the history and culture of Poland.
