In a festive ceremony on Monday, 20 November 2023 at the Wilhelm-von-Humboldt-Gemeinschaftsschule, Senator for Education, Youth and Family Katharina Günther-Wünsch honoured schools for outstanding project implementation in the field of practical learning. The Klax School applied with the project "Educational Work In The Digital Age" and was able to impress with its practical implementation in the classroom.
Nowadays, children and young people are required to develop competences and skills that are described as 21st century skills. These include, for example, the ability to solve problems, teamwork and creativity. In order to equip pupils with these and other skills such as technical or media competence, the Klax School curriculum has been expanded to include special subjects.
As part of the award ceremony, the pupils presented their projects in the auditorium of the Wilhelm-von-Humboldt-Gemeinschaftsschule and reported on their experiences in the school subjects.
