Walking through Recent German History

Schüler*innen am Start

A team of six year 13 pupils took part in this year's school wall run for the Klax School. The route followed the former course of the Wall and covered around 12 kilometres. The young people had to answer questions about German-German history, politics and society at ten checkpoints spread along the entire route. After successfully crossing the finish line, the award ceremony took place at the Berlin Wall Memorial. Former DDR civil rights activist and patron of the Wall Race Rainer Eppelmann was there as guest of honour and speaker. We congratulate our students on their successful participation and are delighted with their willingness to challenge themselves both athletically and politically.
