Every year, October is marked by the autumn project week. During the four days, the students not only learned new creative work techniques such as sewing or embroidery, but also dealt with overarching themes: for example, how the production of sustainable textiles can succeed. In a total of 26 workshops, the students developed creative objects: Hand-printed calendars, decorative lamps made of poplar wood and self-fired ceramic mugs are just a few examples of the works. Great autumn wreaths were tied, pumpkins carved and colourful loop scarves sewn. In the documentation workshop, the students recorded the progress of the individual workshops and created the digital brochure for the week. Traditionally, all products were exhibited and sold at the autumn market at the end of the week. We were impressed by how concentrated and eager the students were to work on their projects.
