At the beginning of the school year, our 7th graders traditionally go on a "get-to-know-you" trip to Lake Wandlitz. The weather was kind this year: with almost summer-like temperatures, the classes started in Pankow to reach Wandlitz, 30 km away, around noon. There they first moved into their accommodation, which was directly at the lake, and explored the surrounding area. In order to strengthen the class community of the seventh grade, there were, among other things, cooperation and trust games, which were accompanied by an external adventure teacher. A highlight was the 13km hike around the Liepnitzsee, where the students' physical condition was put to the test. A barbecue evening, campfire moments, community games and swimming in the lake rounded off the get-to-know-you trip.
