Project trip of class 6 to Hamburg

Schüler in Hamburg

The motto of the project trip was "Hamburg - a port city in transition". A varied programme awaited the pupils. During an interactive guided tour with all senses, they explored Hamburg's old warehouse district, took a harbour tour and visited the shipping museum. A highlight was definitely the visit to the observation deck on the Elbphilharmonie - seeing the city from a bird's eye view was an experience! A visit to the Miniature Wonderland was also on the agenda. As part of the sustainability focus, the class visited the Greenpeace headquarters and was able to learn about the history and work of the organisation as well as see the current exhibition on environmental protection. The conclusion of the week: The students learned an incredible amount about Hamburg and maritime history and were able to enjoy their time together and make or strengthen new friendships.
