South of Berlin in the district of Dahme-Spreewald lies the idyllic Frauensee. At the beginning of May, our 4th to 6th classes spent a week at the Kiez Frauensee children's and youth centre as part of the project trip "Learning in a different place". There was a lot for the children to discover during the class trip: In addition to building huts, playing disc golf or stand-up paddling, the children also learned how to build torches or make a campfire. The pupils also explored the surroundings on hikes around the lake or danced in the children's disco. One of the highlights: The night hike in the surrounding forest. Of course, the accommodation in the bungalows was also exciting. After an exciting week full of activities in nature, we know: We will gladly come back!
